The Colts Neck PTO Mini Grant Program was created to support the teachers and staff who make a meaningful difference in our children’s education every day. Our teachers are constantly looking for new and creative ways to engage students, enrich classroom learning, and provide experiences that go beyond the traditional curriculum. Often, these ideas require resources that may not be available through a school’s regular budget.
That’s where our Mini Grant Program comes in.
Through this program, the Colts Neck PTO provides funding to help teachers and staff bring innovative ideas, special projects, educational materials, and enriching experiences into their classrooms and school programs.
Why Mini Grants Matter
A relatively small investment can have a lasting impact.
Mini grants give our teachers the opportunity to turn an idea into reality—whether that means introducing hands-on learning materials, creating an exciting new classroom project, supporting a unique educational experience, or providing students with resources that make learning more engaging and meaningful.
These grants help our staff:
-Enhance classroom learning with new materials, resources, and technology.
-Encourage creativity and innovation by giving teachers the freedom to try new approaches.
-Create hands-on learning opportunities that bring lessons to life.
-Support diverse learning styles and student needs.
-Provide enrichment opportunities that may otherwise be unavailable.
-Build excitement around learning and encourage students to explore, question, and discover.
The Impact on Our Students
At the heart of every mini grant is our students. When teachers have the resources to bring their ideas to life, students benefit from richer, more engaging educational experiences. A new classroom resource can spark curiosity. A hands-on project can turn a lesson into an experience. An innovative activity can inspire a child to discover a new interest or passion.

Legacy Gifts
Leaving a Lasting Legacy for Colts Neck Schools
The Colts Neck PTO is proud to give back to our schools in ways that make a lasting difference for generations of students.
Our Legacy Gift is one of the most meaningful ways we turn the generosity and hard work of our PTO families into lasting improvements throughout the Colts Neck School District. At the conclusion of each PTO President’s two-year term, the PTO makes a significant gift to the district, working closely with our principals and superintendent to identify projects that will have the greatest impact on our students, teachers, and schools.
These gifts are more than donations—they are investments in the future of Colts Neck education.
Over the years, Legacy Gifts and other PTO contributions have helped provide our schools with improvements and resources including sensory spaces, new furniture, outdoor learning centers, enhanced play spaces, school signage, Chromebooks and technology, Innovation Lab equipment, gym equipment, Tower Gardens, new desks, air purifiers, and more.
Each project is thoughtfully selected to enhance the everyday school experience—creating spaces where children can learn, explore, connect, and thrive, while giving teachers and staff additional tools and resources to support them.
The Legacy Gift represents what makes the Colts Neck PTO so special: when our community comes together, the impact can last far beyond a single school year.
Every fundraiser, membership, volunteer hour, and donation helps make these investments possible. Together, we are not only supporting the students in our schools today—we are helping build a better school experience for the Colts Neck students who will come after them.
Our goal is simple: to leave Colts Neck schools better than we found them, and to create a legacy that continues to benefit our children for years to come.
