Every year the PTO makes $20,000 worth of mini-grant funds available to teachers.  This year we are offering up to $25,000 in mini-grants!  These mini-grants have been used to enrich our students' education and bring them to the next level of learning. 

 

Here are just some of the many mini-grants that have been approved in recent years.

  • Music program: NJ Symphony Orchestra

  • Anti-Bullying programs - Be a Super Hero, and Lead-U Assembly

  • Author visits - Kim Norman, Daryl Cobb, and Kate Klise

  • Local Field Trips - Battle of Monmouth, Lenni Lenape, Algonquin Theatre, and Huber Woods

  • Mural club

  • Sushi club garden

  • Chess club - chess sets

  • Science - Pop Quiz Assembly, Chick Hatching, Drones

  • Shakespeare Live

  • iPods for Digital Photography

  • Expansion of the robotics program

  • Cubelets coding and robotics tools

  • iPads for Science BioBlitz

  • District-wide Air Purifiers and Filters
