8TH GRADE STUDENT ACTIVITIES:
HOLIDAY BREAKFAST/ICE CREAM SOCIAL
In the past, the holiday breakfast was planned for the end of December before holiday break. The Ice cream social has traditionally been planned for the last week of school, so the graduating class can sign yearbooks. This year we will need to think outside the box to create memorable events for our graduating class. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Joanne at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This memorable event is planned for June. For this annual tradition, 7th grade parents organize and run the 8th Grade Dance--a celebratory evening for our graduating class! For more information or to volunteer, please contact
Joanne at email@example.com.
The photo montage is a video of school photos, from Kindergarten through 8th grade, collected from students and parents. This montage will be presented to the graduating class at the 8th grade dance and then sent to all 8th grade families as a gift from the PTO. Please send in at least two school-related photos of your child, including their name and school event/year the photo was taken. Group photos work best, for example: class parties, school shows, and class trips. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Joanne at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The 8th grade memory book is a collection of memory pages and graduation well-wishes, submitted by parents, family, and friends, compiled into a book given out at the 8th Grade Graduation. Don't miss this opportunity to give a shout-out to your graduates, congratulate them on their years at Cedar, and wish them well in high school. Students can also send farewells and well-wish messages to their classmates and/or teachers. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Joanne at email@example.com.
