RUNNING FEBRUARY 20TH - MARCH 3RD  

 

Our Read-A-Thon is taking place over the course of two weeks starting Monday, February 20 through Friday, March 3.  We are asking each student to set a goal of at least 200 minutes over the course of 10 weekdays. That's only 20 minutes per day and reading with/for your child counts! 

 

Students should have received a flyer with a code for parents to create a page for each child to log their daily reading minutes. You may also use the sample codes below for each school and your teacher's name.

Get started in 3 easy steps:

1)  Activate your account at www.read-a-thon.com/readers using a code and your teacher's name.

2)  Use the online tools to tell friends and family about our Read-A-Thon.

3)  Track and log reading sessions from February 20 - March 3.

 

 

There's something for everyone!

  • All participating students will be able to spend a percent of their donations at the Read-A-Thon Shop.

  • Students who reach their goal of at least 200 minutes will receive an Awards Certificate.

  • The Top Readers and Top Fundraisers in each school will receive a medal.

  • The First Place Reader and First Place Fundraiser will receive a $25 Barnes and Noble gift card.

  • The Class with Most Minutes Read and Most Money Raised in each school will receive a pizza party or bagel breakfast!

  • Most importantly, the money raised goes back to our children through student activities, assemblies, and mini-grant funding!
